ASTM A213 TP316H Stainless Steel Seamless Tube for Heat Exchanger, Superheater
TP316H is a high-temperature grade of stainless steel, specifically formulated for use in boiler, superheater, and heat exchanger tubes. The "H" in TP316H denotes a higher carbon content compared to standard TP316, which enhances the material's strength at elevated temperatures. This makes it suitable for high-temperature applications where TP316 or TP316L may not provide sufficient strength. TP316H maintains good corrosion resistance in a variety of environments, especially those containing chlorides and acidic substances. The addition of molybdenum enhances its resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in chloride environments, which is beneficial in high-temperature, corrosive applications.
